WAVES GUITAR FESTIVAL – GRAVEDONA ED UNITI 13 – 14 LUGLIO 2013
Il “Waves Guitar Festival” riunisce in un luogo di grande rilievo storico e bellezza naturale, chitarristi che rappresentano culture e stili differenti fra loro: la chitarra classica contemporanea, il fingerpicking, la musica sudamericana e il jazz; uno spazio privilegiato per le tecniche più innovative dello strumento e assieme, un evento culturale che possa essere apprezzato anche dal grande pubblico. Non solo concerti ma anche workshop ed esposizioni, per chi volesse approfondire alcuni aspetti tecnici e musicali. Cornici suggestive che vanno dalle chiese per i concerti di chitarra classica, ai locali per gli aperitivi musicali fino a luoghi prestigiosi come il cinquecentesco Palazzo Gallio, ed il cortile del convento di Santa Maria delle Grazie, di fine ’400, per i concerti serali di artisti rinomati. Occasioni d’incontro, collaborazioni con i Conservatori italiani e svizzeri, diverse traiettorie e percorsi musicali: tutto questo è “Waves Guitar Festival”.
Die “Waves Guitar Festival” vereint in einem Ort von großer historischer Bedeutung und Schönheit der Natur, Gitarristen, die verschiedenen Kulturen und Stile unter ihnen vertreten: die zeitgenössische klassische Gitarre, Fingerpicking, südamerikanische Musik und Jazz, ein privilegierter Platz für die neuesten Techniken innovatives Instrument und gemeinsam eine kulturelle Veranstaltung, die von der breiten Öffentlichkeit geschätzt wird. Nicht nur Konzerte, sondern auch Workshops und Ausstellungen, für diejenigen, die einige technische Aspekte und Musik lernen wollen. Frames suggestive von Kirchen für klassische Gitarre Konzerte, die lokale Aperitif Musik an Orte wie prestigeträchtigen im sechzehnten Jahrhundert Palazzo Gallio und Innenhof des Klosters Santa Maria delle Grazie, am Ende des ’400, für abendliche Konzerte renommierten Künstlern. Chancen für die Sitzungen, die Zusammenarbeit mit den Konservativen italienischen und Schweizer, unterschiedliche Flugbahnen und musikalische Wege: Das ist “Waves Guitar Festival”.
The “Waves Guitar Festival” is a showcase for guitarists who represent the best of their chosen instrument and between them feature many different styles and cultures: contemporary, classical, South American, and Jazz, all in a place of great historical importance and natural beauty, a priviliged space for the most innovative thecniques of the instrument. it is a cultural event that will be aprreciated by all who enjoy grat music in a fantastic setting. Not only are concerts offered, but also workshops and exibitions for those who wish to learn about technical aspects of guitar and the music on which it is played. Locations for the two day festival range fron churches for the classical concerts, to the local cafes and bars for more casual music, and on to the prestigious sixteenth century Palazzo Gallio and the courtyard of the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie (c.1400) for the evening headliner concerts. So what is the “Waves Guitar Festival”. Simply a magnificent opportunity for interaction and appreciation of the best guitar playing and styles in
a a picture-perfect Lake Como setting.
